AMD did not went into specifics of the GPU but it has been known for a while that the Radeon HD 7990 from AMD would be codenamed Malta and feature Dual Tahiti XT cores clocked around 1000 1100 MHz and would feature a 6 GB (3 GB per GPU) VRAM running across a 384 bit x2 interface. You may notice how AMD has labeled the slide as a preview of the upcoming product which means that its launch (previously reported around Q2 2013) might not be far away. This is good. Nvidia could eventually lower their prices to respond the tense competition from AMD, so people would enjoy Nvidia's top-tier cards at lower prices. Many people out there simply cannot afford to dish out that much money for one of the two Nvidia's top-tier cards. Also, if anyone know.is a TDP of 375W too much for a 650W PSU? NoodleFighter depends how much energy is also being used be other components in the PC and the quality of the PSU, some PSUs say they can do certain wattages yet they get on fire before they even reach half of what they claim to be able to do. Well he has a seasonic that is a great psu brand, but the 6990 is 375W max tdp according to hwcompare. And on the amd website it says the 6990 requires 750W psu or better, so I am guessing it is too much for a 650w psu.
